A Setting of Robert Frost's Poem "Come In"
for Choir & Chamber Orchestra by Don Robertson (2007)
Composed in 2007, Don Robertson’s setting of the Robert Frost poem “Come In” began as an inspired improvisation on electronic keyboard. He felt that there was a poem that would fit the music that he had just finished improvising and recording, and the poem had something to do with birds in the nighttime. He then found Robert Frost’s poem and saw how neatly it fit the music that he had just improvised.
