Art

The evolution of classical art proceeds simultaneously with that of classical music. Hence, we find the sacred painting and sculpture of the 16th century consistent with the sacred music of the century, and the paintings of the impressionist artists of France in line with the music of the French composers of the same period. It also follows that during the 20th century, when discord became the basis of classical music, a negative form of art also was considered to be de rigueur.
The Musical Kaleidoscope project, as we are doing in music, is selecting great works of art from all times and cultures. We consider Walt Disney and George Lucas to be the two greatest innovators of 20th Century art and will be the inspirations for the coming positive art of the 21st century, as they have created works of genius using the technology of the 20th century to lift art from the canvas and onto the screen.
