In 2012, Église Saint-Sulpice in Paris hosted a series of events celebrating the 150th anniversary of its world-famous Aristide Cavaillé-Coll pipe organ. The landmark instrument—widely considered the builder’s magnum opus—had been officially inaugurated on Easter Sunday in 1862.
